Downing Street siege mentality? Home Secretary going?

I've now been told Downing Street are only allowing two members of the press (camera people) in tomorrow for Singapore's Minister Mentor's 'photo opp' following his meeting with Gordon Brown. Are they scared that if there are any journalists in the room the Prime Minister will be fired questions over expenses/embarrassing election results/cabinet reshuffles/leadership challenges etc etc? FSN is sending a cameraman in though so at least I'll be able to report back here on whether Gordon Brown looks happy or not once I see our pictures...

This as Sky News reports here that Jacqui Smith will be one of those to lose her job over the expenses scandal and the looming election disaster for the Labour Party.

Guido Fawkes, meanwhile, rates as 'not bad' the news of three more MPs planning to stand down at the next election.

It's going to be a very interesting few days...
